If you notice any of the following, act now:
Go to a 24/7 Emergency Hospital Immediately
- Trouble breathing, blue/pale gums, collapsing or can’t stand
- Uncontrolled bleeding or severe trauma (hit by car, large wounds)
- Seizures lasting more than 3–5 minutes or multiple seizures
- Suspected poisoning (e.g., chocolate, xylitol, grapes, rat bait) or snake bite
- Bloated, painful abdomen with retching but no vomit (possible bloat/GDV)
- Inability to urinate (especially male cats)
- Sudden paralysis or severe weakness
- Heatstroke signs: excessive panting, drooling, collapse
